In order to strengthen our team in North America we are looking for an experienced full-time Technical Field Service Manager (m/f/d).

The Technical Field Service Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction on all levels of the business by providing remote and on site assistance, installation, and sales support of MOTORTECH products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide product and technical support to all MOTORTECH Distributors, Sales Partners, and end use customers
  • Provide on-site customer product training 
  • Commissioning of gas engines in the field with training of the operating personnel
  • Develop new and maintain existing relationships with Distributor and Sales Partners branch operational, sales and service managers and staff
  • Coordinate calls with MOTORTECH corporate staff to ensure needs of customers quality and warranty concerns are met
  • Provide technical support and additional company presence at national and regional industry trade shows
  • Provide sales support through assisting customers in determining correct product for their needs
  • Provide feedback from the field to Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical support regarding competitive product
  • Participation in project tenders as required in support of the sales department

Requirements:

  • Experience with reciprocating natural gas engine driven compressor and generator applications
  • Advanced knowledge of stationary natural gas engine along with troubleshooting of ignition and control systems
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience with gas engine ignition and control systems
  • Practical knowledge in the fields of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, gas compression, power gen
  • Knowledge of electrical topologies and distribution both high voltage and low voltage
  • Experience in customer service
  • Up to 50% Travel requirements (US and Canada)
  • Drivers License
