To strengthen our dynamic, international team we are looking for an experienced full time (40hr/week) Service Engineer (m/f/d) to provide on-site and phone troubleshooting assistance, installation and sales support of MOTORTECH Gas Engine Systems as of 01.07.2021 based in our office in Shanghai (China).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of stationary industrial gas engines in the field with training of the operating personnel
  • Provide technical support to MOTORTECH Distributors and customers, with focus on the Chinese and Asian market
  • Provide on-site product technical training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Distributor and Sales Partners sales and service managers
  • Coordinate with Quality Department (Germany) to ensure needs of all customers quality and warranty concerns are met
  • Cooperate with Sales Manager to manage the stock in Shanghai

Requirements:

  • Fluent English/Chinese (Written/Spoken) and up to 50% Travel
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with gas engine ignition and control
  • Successfully completed training in the field of electrical/electronics/power engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of stationary industrial gas engine along with ignition and control systems
  • Practical Knowledge on Gensets, Combined Heat and Power Units and Compressors (Natural Gas, Biogas, Minegas...)
  • Excellent troubleshooting schools, the ability to make independent decisions, and work with minimal supervision
  • Practical knowledge in the fields of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, gas compression, power generation
  • Along with the ability to read wiring and connection drawings
