For our production site in Celle, we are looking for a Plant Electronics Technician (m/f/d) for service, with professional experience in industrial gas engine technology, to start as soon as possible. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reconditioning, installations, overhauls, repairs as well as optimization of objects (in CHP units, gas engines, special machines) with the use of innovative technology 
  • Initial commissioning of gas engines in the area of MOTORTECH system components with training of operating personnel
  • Participation in project tenders as well as adaptation of control and instrumentation systems of switchgears to customer-specific requests and support of the sales department 
  • Troubleshooting on site and via remote access
  • Independent development and solution of technical problems
  • Preparation of meaningful assembly and service reports in the formalized system

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed technical training (e.g. electrician (m/f/d) state technician electrical engineering or comparable)
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of CHP service / upgrade projects on gas engine controls are necessary
  • Knowledge of engine technology as well as safe working according to drawings necessary
  • Ability to work independently and on one's own initiative as well as confident use of MS Office 
  • Secure knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken 
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad as well as car driving license

Beneficial:

  • Practical knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, control engineering (S5 and/or S7) or plant
  • Experience in the areas of analog and digital circuit technology and data bus systems as well as hardware knowledge of electronic components
  • Strong commitment and communication skills
