Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the areas of production and process engineering
  • Leadership & motivation of ~100 employees with regards to responsibility & their active further development 
  • Close cooperation with the other divisions and the international subsidiaries
  • Responsibility for the achievement of all production-related KPIs (e.g. productivity, OEE, plant utilization, etc.)
  • Active continuous optimization of production and maintenance processes and further improvement
  • Ensuring occupational health and safety in the area of responsibility
  • Strategic further development of the production area as well as direct reporting to management
  • Establishment and expansion of lean, automation and digitalization projects
  • Process optimization of introducing new products into production in close cooperation with R&D

Requirements:

  • Completed technical studies (mechanical engineering or process engineering), business knowledge
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position with proven success in increasing productivity and comprehensive management responsibility in a multi-shift production environment
  • Very good expertise in production processes (especially in assembly and machining)
  • High IT affinity as well as team spirit
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Beneficial:

  • Knowledge of vacuum potting and use of cobots in production
  • Process and target orientation through the application of appropriate KPIs as well as through the implementation of principles of continuous improvement, lean management -Six Sigma certification
  • Knowledge in the use of proAlpha and Epicor
