The Sales Application team has the responsibility to support the local Area Sales Managers (ASM) by assisting in defining scope of supply as well as facilitating the internal communication between the different departments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Commercial support on Motortech Products to all local RSM (Regional Sales Managers) and ASM (Area Sales Managers) Worldwide with Focus on the Chinese and Asian market
  • Liaise as needed with internal functions to ensure the best levels of service are provided for customers as well as MOT/DSE RSM/ASM (R&D, Purchasing Department, Product Management, Supply Chain, Service Department... ).
  • Assist RSM and ASM in the selection of parts number. 
  • Prepare scope of supply and design a system solution based on customer request. 
  • Assist RSM and ASM in the presentation of our systems to customers and distributors.
  • Promote both existing and new products to customer.
  • Keep abreast of competition developments.
  • Visit both customers and prospects to develop relationships, build confidence in the company and win more business, in cooperation with the RSM/ASM.
  • Support Inside Sales, Order Management and Warranty Claims teams when necessary
  • Report to the Sales Application Team Leader


  • Essential: Chinese Language (Written and Spoken)
  • Experience of working within a company that has a technical product or service in a commercial role
  • Proven technical selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentations skills.
  • Results orientated team player.
  • Strong influencing & communication skills.
  • MS office savvy. 


  • Desirable: Expert knowledge of the power sector and stationary gas engines, having had a commercial role(s).
